SEOUL, Sept. 7 (Yonhap) -- Minho of SHINee will release his second mini-album, "Make It Hot," at 6 p.m. Monday, SM Entertainment said.

 

The release marks his first new album in nine months since his single "TEMPO" in December last year.

 

The new album contains six tracks, including the title track of the same name.

 

"Make It Hot" is a pop dance track infused with electronic dance music (EDM) sounds. It intuitively captures the emotions of two people drawn to each other and gradually getting closer in the heat.

 

"I've always released albums in winter, when my birthday falls, so I've wondered what it would be like to make a comeback in summer," Minho said. "I wanted to present a song that would allow me to put on a hot and fiery performance."

 

"I poured everything I have into this album. It is an album packed with my strengths," he said. "It contains the hot energy and passion that radiate from me."
