SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) -- Actor Kim Seon-ho's alleged ex-girlfriend, who recently claimed to have been forced by the actor to have an abortion, warned to take legal action against secondary damage.
"We will take all possible legal measures against the malicious contents, including news reports, posts, and comments," a law firm in charge of Kim's former girlfriend's case said Thursday.
The law firm mentioned that Kim's alleged ex-girlfriend "is currently in a state of receiving severe mental pain to the point where it is hard for her to continue everyday life activities," adding that her personal information have been 'indiscriminately' disclosed on online spaces and media outlets.
"We politely ask everyone to refrain from excessive speculation and defamation so that she does not suffer further damage," the company said.
On Oct. 17, an anonymous person claiming to be Kim's ex-girlfriend said that rising star "Actor K" had coerced her into getting an abortion and was notified to be broken up with after erasing her child.
She then said to have received an apology from Kim and did not want any more false stories to be publicized and reproduced any more.
Earlier that same day, Kim released his first personal position on the issue, saying, "I hurt her with my carelessness and inconsiderate behavior." The actor eventually dropped out of KBS' popular entertainment show "2 Days & 1 Night" and is unlikely to appear in his next films.
