SEOUL March 7 (Yonhap) -- South Korean novel “Comment Unit” (working title) by author Jang Gang-myung will be created into a movie.
According to the movie distributing company “Ace Maker Movie Works” addressed on Tuesday that actor Son Suk-ku, Kim Sung-cheol, Kim Dong-hwi and more has participated in the production of the movie which kicked off on Monday.
“Comment Unit” depicts a story of a group of people who tries to manipulate the public through posting various comments under news articles and a reporter who finds about such incident who faces the truth throughout his investigation and more. Director Ahn Gooc-jin of “Alice in Earnestland” from 2015 will lead the production.
Actor Son Suk-ku will be participate as the protagonist figure Lim Sang-jin who gets fired from his job as a reporter after writing an article reveling the truth about conglomerate’s bad doings. Later on throughout the movie, Sang-jin receives an anonymous call and through his investigation Sang-jin takes a step closer to the truth of comment unit.
Actors Kim Sung-cheol, Kim Dong-hwi and more will appear throughout the movie as a member of the comment unit.
