BTS ‘My Universe’ enters Billboard Global Chart for 27 consecutive weeks

SEOUL, April 6 (Yonhap) -- Supergroup BTS’s songs including “My Universe” and “Butter,” are continuing to enter the U.S. Billboard charts.

BTS and the band Coldplay’s joint song “My Universe,” ranked No. 24 and No. 33 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and the Billboard Global 200, respectively, according to Billboard's latest chart, Tuesday (U.S. Time).

Billboard Global 200 chart ranks songs based on streaming and sales activity in more than 200 territories around the world.

BTS remained at the two charts for 27 consecutive weeks after the song was released on Sep. 24, 2021.

Furthermore, “My Universe” ranked No. 22 on Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, No. 39 on Hot Canada Digital Song Sales, and No. 20 on Billboard Canada AC chart.

The superband’s hit songs and albums are showing steady success on Billboard.

In the Billboard Global 200, “Butter” was at No. 44, as well as “Dynamite” at No.59, and “Permission To Dance” at No. 167.
 

Butter” ranked No. 33, on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, including "Dynamite" at No. 38, and “Permission To Dance” at No. 90.
 

BTS’s “LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her” album, released in Sep. 2017, ranked No. 39 on Top Album Sales chart, No. 4 on World Albums chart, even after 4 years since its release.


“MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA,” released in Apr. 2019, ranked No. 55 on Top Album sales chart, No. 6 on World Albums chart, and “BE” released in Nov. 2020, ranked No. 59 on the Top Current Album Sales·No. 5 on the World Albums chart.

Meanwhile, group Stray Kids, which topped the Billboard Main Album chart last week, succeeded to enter the chart for two consecutive weeks.

The mini-album “ODDINARY” of Stray Kids, ranked No. 11, ten steps lower than last week, on the latest Billboard 200 chart.

The chart ranks albums by the sum of the physical sales figures and the number of streaming and downloads converted into sales figures.

NCT DREAM’s second album “Glitch Mode” entered Billboard 200 by ranking No. 50.
