Opening ceremony which features the re-enactment of Toegye Yi Hwang's last return to his hometown is being held at Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul on March 27,2023. Yi Hwang (1501–1570) is one of the most prominent Korean Confucian scholars during the Joseon Dynasty.(Yonhap)
