SEOUL,
Sept. 3 (Yonhap) -- The concert films of K-pop diva IU from 2022 and 2024 will be re-released in theaters to mark IU's 18th anniversary since her debut.
CGV ICECON, the distributor, said on Thursday that "IU Concert: The Golden Hour" (2022) and "IU Concert: The Winning" (2024) will be re-released exclusively on Sept. 9 and 16, respectively.
"IU Concert: The Golden Hour" is IU's first concert film, capturing her concert held at Seoul Olympic Stadium on Sept. 17-18, 2022.
"IU Concert: The Winning" captures IU's first world tour and her 100th concert, held on Sept. 21-22, 2024. The film will be re-released in special formats, including SCREENX and 4DX, as well as 2D.
IU had originally been scheduled to hold a concert in Goyang this month but canceled it due to symptoms of patulous Eustachian tube, a condition in which the Eustachian tube, a passage inside the eardrum, remains abnormally open. The release of her sixth full-length album has also been postponed.
