SEOUL, July 27 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said Monday it will hold the global content competition "Talk Talk Korea 2026" through Sept. 28 for foreign participants around the world.
Launched in 2014, Talk Talk Korea is a flagship Korean Wave content contest that invites people from diverse cultural backgrounds to express the appeal of Korean culture through videos, photographs and other creative works.
This year's competition is themed "My First K-Culture Story," encouraging participants to create original content about their first encounter with Korean culture.
The contest consists of four categories -- video, photography, illustration and writing. Participants must upload their entries publicly on their personal social media accounts and then complete their application through the contest's official website. Submitted posts must include the required hashtags: #TalkTalkKorea2026, #TTK2026 and #MyPOV.
A total of 124 winners, including 44 main prize recipients and 80 participation award winners, will be announced on Nov. 5.
First-place winners in each category will receive a Korea travel voucher worth 3 million won. The overall grand prize winner across all categories will receive the culture minister's award. The online awards ceremony will be held on Nov. 17.
