SEOUL, Sept. 27 (Yonhap) -- South Korean actor Park Hae-soo, who recently attracted popularity for his role as Sang-woo, a neighborhood friend of actor Lee Jung-jae's character in the Netflix drama "Squid Game," will make a comeback with a leading role on the small screens.
According to the cable channel OCN on Monday, it will air the weekend drama "Chimera," starring Park Hae-soo, Soo-hyun, and Lee Hee-joon, at 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 30.
"Chimera" is a thriller drama on a serial murder case called Chimera which has started to reoccur after 35 years. The story follows a detective, profiler, and surgeon, who all have different intentions in finding the truth, work together to solve the crime.
Screenwriter Lee Jin-mae of "Ex-Girlfriends' Club" and "I Am Sam" and director Kim Do-hoon of "The Moon Embracing the Sun" and "Royal Family" have participated in making of this drama.
