SEOUL December 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korean actor, singer Lee Seung-gi and his former entertainment company Hook Entertainment’s conflict on artist payment will continue on as the court case.
When the Hook Entertainment paid out 5.4 billion won to Lee Seung-gi addressing that is the rightful amount that the company hasn’t paid the artist, he addressed that he will continue to fight for the transparency of unpaid dues and donate the 5.4 billion won to those who are in need.

However, Lee Seung-gi uploaded a post on his official social media account addressing “This morning, I received a text stating that Hook Entertainment decided to wire transfer me 5.4 billion won under the name of unpaid debt,” adding “Hook Entertainment is trying to burry everything aside by packaging everything as paid debt.”
Continuing on the artist addressed “The reason I am fighting against Hook Entertainment is not because of the money they owe me, instead I wanted them to know that money earned by artist who have worked very hard to earn those money should not be used easily in order to meet the greed of someone else,” adding “I still cannot understand the calculation conducted by Hook Entertainment therefore I will continue on with the fight.”
Starting with 5.4 billion won he received Lee Seung-gi plans on donating the money he receives from the lawsuit to charity excluding the amount he uses to continue on with the case.

According to the press release of Hook Entertainment the company apologized to the artist by stating “We would like to send our dearest apology to Lee Seung-gi on our mistake that has led both parties to our current state.”
