SEOUL, Oct. 23 (Yonhap) -- Wellstreet Pharmacy said Friday it has opened a large pharmacy with a floor area of 580 square meters in the Meditech District in Magok-dong, western Seoul.

 

Wellstreet Pharmacy, whose name reflects its goal of becoming "the center of health and wellness," is a retail store selling over-the-counter medicines, health functional foods and cosmetics.

 

The store offers about 2,800 types of products, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, probiotics and nutritional supplements for pets.

 

It also carries products from health functional food brands sold at department stores, as well as health functional foods available in Japan.

 

Inside the store, a "Beauty & Derma Cosmetics Showroom" dedicated to cosmetics and a "Trend Zone" showcasing healthcare-related products have been set up separately.

 

Open display shelves and spacious customer pathways have also been arranged to make the store accessible to customers with strollers or shopping carts. An unmanned luggage storage locker is available for travelers and other customers.

 

Wellstreet Pharmacy is located on the first floor of K Square Magok, near Magok Station on Seoul Subway Line 5 and Magongnaru Station on Line 9.

 

The store is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., year-round.
