SEOUL, May 20 (Yonhap) -- Global luxury beauty brand Sulwhasoo launched a collaborative exhibition, “Rooms of Women: Women’s Rooms Across Generations,” with contemporary fashion brand LEJE.
The exhibition runs thorugh June 14 at Bukchon Sulwhasoo House in Seoul. The project brings together the worlds of beauty and fashion, interpreting women’s lives and narratives accumulated over time through a sensorial spatial experience grounded in the two brands’ shared appreciation of tradition.
The exhibition is designed so that visitors move through rooms with different themes, organically experiencing the emotions and traces embedded in women’s lives. Sulwhasoo’s signature aesthetic elements are combined with LEJE’s design sensibility to create distinctive atmospheres and immersive visual experiences in each space.
Bukchon Sulwhasoo House, where the exhibition is being held, is a space where traditional Korean hanok architecture coexists with Western-style architecture, reinterpreting Korean aesthetics in a contemporary way. The venue is expected to further enhance the exhibition’s message through its structure, materials and detailed staging.
An opening preview event held on the evening of May 19 was attended by figures from the fashion and beauty industries. Discussions at the event focused on the collaborative exhibition and the modernization of heritage that transcends industry boundaries.
A Sulwhasoo official at Amorepacific said the collaboration was meaningful in that it integrated the languages of beauty and fashion into a single spatial experience to newly present the brand’s aesthetics.
“We will continue expanding boundaries through collaborations with various fields and deliver Sulwhasoo’s differentiated values,” the official said.
In addition, the “Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Limited,” launched in collaboration with LEJE, is available at major department stores nationwide, Bukchon Sulwhasoo House and major e-commerce platforms.
