SEOUL, March 24 (Yonhap) -- Actors Park Min-young, Yook Sung-jae and Ko Soo will star together in a new office romance drama set to premiere in the second half of the year.

Broadcaster SBS said Tuesday that its upcoming series “Nine to Six,” starring the three actors, will air later this year.

The drama follows Kang Yi-ji, a workaholic deputy manager in a legal team who has defined herself through her career. Her life takes an emotional turn when she meets a warm-hearted younger man, Han Sun-woo, and an ideal superior, Park Hyun-tae.

Park Min-young plays Kang Yi-ji, who believes romance and marriage are merely the result of hormones, while Yook Sung-jae takes on the role of Han Sun-woo, an ideal younger intern rarely seen in real life.

The series has also drawn attention as Ko Soo returns to the romance genre for the first time in 15 years. He plays Park Hyun-tae, a newly assigned division head who evaluates Kang solely based on her abilities.

The production team said the trio, combining acting skills, visuals and on-screen chemistry, is expected to bring a sweet and engaging story to viewers.
