SEOUL, Aug. 4 (Yonhap) -- Producer and singer-songwriter Chancellor signed a management deal with Kang Daniel, a singer and CEO of Konnect Entertainment.

“We will fully support Chancellor to showcase his musical talents. With Chancellor’s joining, we have managed to widen our music spectrum,” said Konnect Entertainment on Wednesday.

The company also hinted that it is gearing up for recruitment of more artists.

Konnect Entertainment was initially a one-man agency found by Kang Daniel, after Kang’s legal dispute against his former management agency, LM Entertainment, in 2019.

Kang’s agency has kicked off its recruitment announcing its recent management contract with CL, former member of 2NE1, to support her activities in South Korea.

Chancellor, before signing the contract with the agency, has produced Kang’s albums, “CYAN” and “YELLOW.”

“I am excited to become a new member of Konnect. This will bring a new spur to my musical career as a producer and as an artist,” commented the singer-songwriter.
