SEOUL, Sept. 30 (Yonhap) -- BTS member RM's music video for the title track "Lost!" from his second solo album has been nominated at prestigious video award ceremonies in Germany and the UK, according to his agency, Big Hit Music, on the 30th.

 

The "Lost!" music video has been selected as a finalist in four categories at the Ciclope Festival, an international awards event in Germany that celebrates excellence in advertising and entertainment. The video will compete in the Direction, Cinematography, Production, and Color Grading categories.

 

At the UK Music Video Awards 2024 (UKMVA 2024), "Lost!" has been nominated in three categories: Best Alternative International, Best Production Design in a Video, and Best Visual Effects in a Video.

 

The Ciclope Festival will announce its winners on October 10, while the UKMVA will reveal the results on October 25.

 

The music video for "Lost!" portrays RM navigating through a maze of thoughts and trying to escape. It garnered attention for its use of symbolic objects and the way the size and proportions of spaces change unpredictably throughout. French director Aube Perrie, known for his work on music videos for pop star Harry Styles, directed the video.

 

Meanwhile, fellow BTS member V has also been nominated for Best Pop International at the UKMVA for his digital single "Friends" (FRI(END)S), released in March.

 

RM was also invited to the 29th Busan International Film Festival’s Open Cinema section with his documentary film RM: Right People, Wrong Place. Jungkook is engaging with audiences through his documentary film JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL.
