SEOUL, April 26 (Yonhap) -- Group MONSTA X will return with different kinds of love stories.
MONSTA X will release the eleventh mini-album “SHAPE of LOVE” today through music streaming sites, according to agency Starship Entertainment, Tuesday.
It is an album to drop 5 months after “NO LIMIT,” which was released in November last year.
MONSTA X planned to release the album and make comeback on Apr. 11 but due to the members’ diagnosis with COVID-19, the schedule was postponed by half a month.
This album depicts love in different forms.
The title song “LOVE,” produced by member Jooheon, expresses a love that cannot hide its feelings like a child and wants to give everything, in MONSTA X’s music.
The album consists of various songs with the theme of love, including “Burning Up” and “AND,” in which members Hyungwon and I.M participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement.
MONSTA X will hold an online and offline fan showcase with the fandom platform “Universe” today afternoon.
The agency explained, “It is an album that contains MONSTA X’s color and the group’s more mature insight,” adding, “‘The colorful tracklist expressed in the theme of ‘love’ will add more fun.”
The 2015-debuted idol group has received love from K-pop fans with songs such as “Shoot Out,” “Alligator” and “Follow.”
