SEOUL, Oct. 6 (Yonhap) -- Musinsa said Tuesday it will operate an online and offline pop-up store with Japanese fashion platform Zozotown starting Oct. 16.

The pop-up, titled "Zozotown in Musinsa," was designed to combine the strengths of the two companies' platforms to provide brands with new growth opportunities and expand the fashion ecosystem.

At Musinsa Store Seongsu, customers can shop products from 15 popular Japanese fashion brands, including Beauty&Youth United Arrows, Snidel and Urban Research, through Oct. 31.

Musinsa's online store will also host a special exhibition showcasing the "latest fashion trends in Tokyo" through Nov. 16.

A Musinsa official said, "The pop-up is significant as it marks Zozotown's first offline event in Korea and represents an expansion into Korea of the partnership the two companies have built in the Japanese market." The official added, "We will support K-fashion brands' entry into Japan and continue various collaborations."
