SEOUL, Sept. 9 (Yonhap) -- Jun, a Chinese member of K-pop group SEVENTEEN, will star in the Chinese film "Back to Summer Vacation," his agency, Pledis Entertainment, said Wednesday.

 

The film follows adults on a summer vacation. The protagonist's journey of bidding farewell to an unreturnable past and welcoming a new summer is set to offer audiences a warm and healing experience.

 

Jun will play Jin Joo-kang, a college student who works part time at a photo studio.

 

Jun has also pursued an acting career in China, appearing in various films and television dramas.

 

His film "Chasing the Storm," released last year, was invited to several film festivals, including the Shanghai International Film Festival and the Busan International Film Festival. Jun was also nominated for best supporting actor at the Hundred Flowers Awards, a major Chinese film awards ceremony, for his role in the film.
