SEOUL, July 27 (Yonhap) -- Osulloc, South Korea's leading luxury tea brand, has opened a new "Tea Library" space inside its Tea Factory at the Hannam Tea Field on Jeju Island.

The Hannam Tea Field is one of Osulloc's tea plantations in Jeju and is home to the brand's Tea Factory, Tea House and the newly opened Tea Library.

Designed as a space where visitors can explore the brand's history, philosophy and tea culture, the Tea Library completes the Hannam Tea Field as a comprehensive tea culture destination where visitors can experience the entire farm-to-cup process, from tea cultivation to a finished cup of tea.

Inspired by the design of a library, the Tea Library showcases Osulloc's more than 40 years of brand heritage through a variety of exhibitions highlighting its philosophy, history, ingredient cultivation and production processes, as well as its sustainability initiatives.

Upon entering, visitors are greeted by 12 bookshelves arranged like a library directory, allowing them to freely browse tea-related content as they move through the space.

Following the bookshelves, visitors can explore a hojicha roasting zone, a tasting area and a product section.

At the hojicha roasting zone, where the aroma of roasted tea fills the space, visitors can observe the actual roasting process in which tea leaves grown in Jeju are transformed into richly flavored hojicha.

The interior also features an exhibition area introducing the brand's heritage, a media zone, and a product section offering Tea Library-exclusive items and merchandise.

Osulloc will also offer docent-led tours for visitors seeking a deeper experience.

The guided program includes the Tea Library exhibition space, the Tea Factory production facilities and the Hannam Tea Field observatory, allowing participants to follow the entire tea-making process. Visitors can also sample a variety of teas with a tea master and discover blends that suit their individual preferences.

The tours will be available by advance reservation, with booking details to be announced later through Osulloc's official channels.
