SEOUL, Mar. 10 (Yonhap) – K-pop superband BTS will meet "ARMY"(BTS’ fan club name) in Korea for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
BTS will hold a concert "BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL" at Olympic Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on Mar. 10 at 7 p.m(KST).
It is the first time in about two and a half years that the group has performed in front of Korean fans since the world tour concert held at Olympic Stadium in October, 2019.
The concert will be held three times on Mar. 10 and Mar. 12 to 13.
The concerts on Mar. 10 and Mar. 13 will be held aired live along with offline performances. The concert on Mar. 12 will be broadcasted worldwide through “Live Viewing,” where you can watch the concert at the movie theater.
The Seoul concert is expected to kick off with the song “ON,” which displays impressive and heavy beats.
“ON,” which is the title song of the fourth full album "MAP OF THE SOUL : 7" released in February, 2020, was also performed as the first song of the concert in LA last year.
BTS will also perform its major hit songs, including "Butter," "Dynamite" and "Permission To Dance."
The concert was approved for 15,000 people per session, which makes a total of 45,000 people, becoming the largest size since the COVID-19 outbreak.
However, the group’s agency and fans are concerned due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 recently.
