SEOUL April 18 (Yonhap) -- A photo of BTS member V wearing the Special Duty Team (SDT) anti-terrorism uniform while serving in the military has surfaced.

Shared on the Facebook community on Wednesday, a post included the caption 'BTS V's Current Status, Serving in the SDT of the 2nd Division Military Police Unit,' alongside a picture of V wearing the SDT anti-terrorism uniform, also known as the 'black uniform.'

The SDT is an organization within each military police unit tasked with responsibilities such as initial response to terrorism, VIP protection, and special operations.

According to the Army on the 18th, V, who enlisted in December last year at the Army Nonsan Training Center, applied to join the military police during his basic training and is currently serving in the SDT of the 2nd Division.

Starting with the eldest member Jin in December 2022, all members of BTS are fulfilling their military duties. J-Hope enlisted in April last year, while RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook enlisted in December. Suga has been serving as a social service worker since September 2023.
