SEOUL, June 9 (Yonhap) -- Singer DAWN (Kim Hyo-jong) will make a solo comeback after a year and 8 months.

"DAWN will release a new single 'Stupid Cool' on June 16 at 6 p.m. through music streaming sites," said the agency P Nation on Thursday.

This is a solo comeback of the singer in a year and 8 months since his 1st mini album "DAWNDIDIDAWN" was released in October 2020.

A video revealed through the agency's social media on Thursday showed Dawn in a photoshoot with his lover HyunA filming him. 

Dawn who debuted as a member of the K-pop boy group Pentagon in 2016, gained popularity through the project group Triple H with HyunA. The artist is continuing his musical activities as a solo artist from 2019.
