SEOUL, Aug. 20 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group Ateez recently unveiled a remix version of famous American a cappella group Pentatonix's latest single.

The remix of "A Little Space" by the Grammy Award-winning Pentatonix, featuring ATEEZ's Yun-ho, San and Jong-ho, has been released, according to music distributor Sony Music Entertainment on Friday.

Ateez's reinterpretation of Pentatonix's "A Little Space," which was released in February, showed the boy group's distinct characteristics and included several Korean lyrics.

The remixed song will also be included in the a cappella group's upcoming album "The Lucky Ones Deluxe Edition".

Ateez is also set to appear in the music video with Pentatonix for "A Little Space."

"Pentatonix reached out to us after being impressed by Ateez's global activities and influence online, and we were able to happily collaborate together, the boy band's agency, KQ Entertainment said.

Pentatonix, a five-member group, is known for having led the popularization of the a cappella genre.

Based on the group's excellent harmony and production skills, Pentatonix received three Grammy Awards, proving their worth in both popularity and artistic aspects. Some representative songs of the a cappella group include "Little Drummer Boy," "Can't Sleep Love," and "Attention."

Meanwhile, Ateez debuted in 2018 as an eight-member boy band and has recently emerged as global K-pop idols.

The eight-piece-act ranked fifth in the U.S. last year as the most tweeted singers, following K-pop sensation BTS, Beyonce, Drake, and others. Ateez also ranked third in Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War," a competition program featuring six trending K-pop boy bands, beating other veteran groups.
