SEOUL, Nov. 4 (Yonhap) -- Girl-group LABOUM, who finally received spotlight with their 2016-song “Journey to Atlantis,” has kicked off their schedules holding an online showcase for their 3rd mini-album “BLOSSOM” on the 3rd.

As one of their members Yujeong left the team in September, the band will act in 4-piece starting from the recent album.

The EP consists of four songs including the title track,” Kiss Kiss,” and side tracks “How I Wish,” “Repeat” and “Love On You.”

“Kiss Kiss” is a soft and warm love song that features the members’ different and unique voices. Member Sohyeon took part in writing the lyrics.

She participated in producing and writing the lyrics for “How I Wish” and “Love On You.” Sol-bin took over the production of and lyrics for “Repeat.”

As the 2014-debuted group’s 2016-released “Journey to Atlantis” gained sudden interest through MBC TV “Hang Out with Yoo” in May 2021, it was brought back by the K-pop listeners to climb up the chart.

“We felt like being compensated for our last 7 years.” The members were overwhelmed.

“We couldn’t even imagine it would ever happen to us. Every morning waking up, we would asked, “Isn’t this just a dream? Is this real?” said Soyeon.

“We had a lot of concerns thinking, ‘If we let go of “Journey to Atlantis”’ concept and move on to another, wouldn't we be missing out its popularity?’ We tried to add the naturalness of our age to “Journey to Atlantis”’ freshness,” said Haein.
