SEOUL, Mar. 25 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean trio Beatrice of young musicians will hold a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Mar. 29 at the Daegu Culture and Arts Center’s Biseul Hall, the Center announced Saturday.
Beatrice is a concert party consisting of pianist Park So-hyun, violinist Kim Eun-ji, and cellist Kim Yu-jin. The trio has been well-received for showing off their talent by playing diverse repertoires including pieces from Baroque to modern times.
In the upcoming concert, they will play Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich's "Waltz No. 2," "Romance" from “The Gadfly” Op. 97, "Piano Trio No. 2,” and more. In addition, Professor Lee Na-sun of Kyungpook National University's College of Arts will also be on stage to introduce the Russian composer’s life and career.
