SEOUL, Dec. 6 (Yonhap) -- Choi Ye-na from girl-group IZ*ONE has announced to take strong legal actions against the malicious rumor about her that has spread across online.

“Through constant monitoring and the reports from the fans, we are collecting evidence. As soon as we finish organizing evidence, we will file a suit via law firm,” stated her management agency Yuehwa Entertainment on their press release Monday.

“We clearly assure you that Choi has nothing to do with the rumor. We will not tolerate writers of hate comments that have inflicted mental pain and damage to Choi who has just started spreading her dreams in the age of early 20s,” stressed the agency.

They also requested the netizens to stop spreading hurtful words against the artist and to prevent repeating of this kind of incidence.

Meanwhile, Choi has starred in “Girl’s World 2” as 18-year-old Oh Na-ri. The webdrama will be pre-released through Naver TV, V-live and Japanese OTT platform Abema every Wednesday starting from the 15th. From the 29th, it will also be available through YouTube channel “tvN D Studio.”
