S.Korean films 'Remember' and 'Confession' competes against one another

SEOUL October 28 (Yonhap) -- South Korean movie “Confession” and “Remember” will be going head to head for the top of South Korean box office on the first weekend of its premiere.

According to the integrated network of movie tickets by the Korean Film Council on Friday, both of the movies “Confession” and “Remember” which premiered on October 26 continued on with its success as top 2 movies on S.Korean box office after surpassing the admission rate of DC hero movie “Black Adam” featuring Dwayne Johnson.

On the first day of its premiere “Remember” topped the box office, however, by attracting 28 thousand audiences “Confession” took over “Remember,” and topped the box office on the second day of its premiere.

South Korean movie “Remember” attracted in total of 97 thousand audiences where as “Confession” attracted 80 thousand audiences.

As of 9 a.m. on Friday, “Remember” scored 21.0 percent reservation rate where as “Confession” scored 16.5 percent reservation rate.

Animation movie “Ainbo,” independent movie “Hot in day, Cold at night,” “Popran” by Japanese director Ueda Shinichirou will premiere onto the theater.
