SEOUL, Mar. 22 (Yonhap) -- South Korean actress Lee Som and actor Ahn Jae-hong have confirmed to appear as a couple in TVING’s upcoming original series “LTNS (Long Time No Sex)” (tentative title).

This forthcoming comedy series will feature a couple that has been estranged due to various life struggles unexpectedly ending up threatening those committing adultery to make profits and facing their own relationship that has long been crushed.

With the couple in the center, many-sided stories of marital infidelity will unfold in each episode.

In the series, Lee and Ahn will suit up as a married couple that neither owns a house nor children for five years. Lee will play Woo-jin, who may seem excessively goal-oriented and aggressive, but actually is a soft-hearted wife and a front desk clerk at a three-star hotel. Due to the seemingly endless turmoils in life, she eventually makes a bad decision to take the offer that she cannot refuse.

In the meantime, Ahn has been slated to appear as Samuel, who is full of rage and contempt in contrast to his fairly gentle look. After graduating from a prestigious university, he gets hired by a conglomerate without much difficulty. However, he ends up leaving his stable job after getting his heart broken and then becomes a taxi driver.

Director Lim Dae-hyung, who is known for previously delivering the indie hit “Moonlit Winter,” and director Jeon Go-woon, who has credits for producing the 2017 drama film “Microhabitat,” have joined hands to write the script and take the helm of this series.
