SEOUL, July 5 (Yonhap) -- NewJeans has unveiled the Korean version of the music video for their Japanese debut single title track, "Supernatural."
According to their agency, ADOR, NewJeans posted "Supernatural Music Video Part 2" on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel on the 5th. This follows the initial music video released on the 21st of last month.
In this video, NewJeans performs the song "Supernatural" with Korean lyrics instead of the original Japanese ones.
The video hints at NewJeans' true nature with news reports about increasing supernatural phenomena and unusual creatures, revealing hidden stories not shown in the previous part.
The single "Supernatural" ranked 4th for the second consecutive week on the Oricon Weekly Combined Single Ranking for the week of July 8th in Japan.
The title track of the same name reached 11th on the Oricon Weekly Streaming Ranking and 16th on Spotify Japan's "Daily Top Songs." It also showed an upward trend on domestic music charts, ranking 1st on Bugs' daily chart for two consecutive days (July 2-3) and peaking at 8th on Melon's "Top 100."
NewJeans, who drew over 90,000 fans to their fan meetings held at the Tokyo Dome on the 26th and 27th of last month, will continue their momentum with an appearance on Nihon TV's "The Music Day 2024" on the 6th.
