SEOUL, April 6 (Yonhap) — The JTBC romance series "The Practical Guide to Love" wrapped up with viewership in the 5 percent range, according to data released Monday.

Nielsen Korea said the final episode of the weekend series, which aired Sunday, recorded a nationwide rating of 5.0 percent.

The last episode followed the relationship between Lee Eui-young, played by Han Ji-min, and Song Tae-seop, played by Park Sung-hoon, as their connection that began with a blind date developed into a relationship with marriage in mind.

Lee comes to realize, through conversations with a friend anxious about marriage, that both marriage and life require taking a step forward despite uncertainty.

Song, while visiting a ring workshop for work, hears from the owner that all couples who wore matching rings there eventually got married. He later gives Lee a pair of couple rings.

After receiving the rings, Lee asks, "Do you agree to a relationship with marriage in mind with me?" bringing the two closer to marriage.

Based on a webtoon of the same name, the drama tells a realistic story of a woman navigating blind dates and discovering the true meaning of love.

The series started with a 3.1 percent rating and maintained a modest upward trend, ending on its highest viewership with the finale.
