SEOUL, Sept. 4 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group RIIZE marked its third anniversary Friday, saying, "Our goal has always been growth, and that remains the same," and expressing a desire to "show a new side of ourselves rather than stay in our comfort zone."

Through their agency, SM Entertainment, the members said, "Every activity has been meaningful and filled with memories, so we consider it precious time," reflecting on their three years since debut.

They also thanked BRIIZE, their official fan club, saying, "Whenever we sometimes wondered whether we were doing well or whether we were on the right path, BRIIZE gave us confidence and guided us in a positive direction."

RIIZE debuted in 2023 and gained popularity with hit songs including "Get A Guitar," "Love 119" and "Boom Boom Bass." This year, the group completed its first world tour, drawing a total of 420,000 fans across 21 regions worldwide.

Member Sungchan said, "I am who I am today because I went through both good and difficult moments with the members and BRIIZE." He added, "I want to continue our activities while cherishing every moment as we do now."

Eunseok said, "I feel like I've become more relaxed when I'm onstage. Rather than simply doing what we're supposed to do, I've learned to enjoy and focus on the moment." He added, "There may still be things I lack, but I can feel that I'm gradually growing onstage."

RIIZE picked their Tokyo Dome concert, the final Seoul show of their first world tour and their performances at Lollapalooza in three South American countries as some of their most memorable stages.

Sohee said, "I realized that I love and enjoy performing more than I had imagined." He added, "By our fourth anniversary, I want RIIZE to perform in bigger venues and share the experience with more people. To make that happen, we will have to move forward with an even stronger determination, so I'll continue to work hard."

Anton told BRIIZE, "I hope RIIZE can become a presence that helps make your lives a little happier, even though each of you has your own life."
