SEOUL, Feb. 3 (Yonhap) — NCT WISH will open a character pop-up store starting this weekend, the group’s agency said Tuesday.
The pop-up store, titled "WISH BAKERY," will be operated by the group’s original character, WISH DOLL, and will run for 16 days from Feb. 7 to 22 at 11 Yeonmujang 13-gil, Seongdong District, Seoul, according to SM Entertainment.
Designed around the concept of a bakery where NCT WISH and WISH DOLL bake bread that makes wishes come true, the pop-up store will feature exhibitions and photo zones showcasing WISH DOLL’s warm and cozy sensibility, offering fans a unique and immersive experience.
The venue will also host a variety of interactive spaces and a merchandise zone, including a “custom T-shirt studio” where fans’ own designs are printed on T-shirts on the spot using apparel-printing equipment from global tech company Epson. Other attractions include a four-cut photo booth, a custom photo card kiosk, a name sticker machine and a random capsule machine.
In addition, a promotional website allowing fans to preview the "WISH BAKERY" experience online opened on Saturday. Beginning with a pop-up store guide, various contents such as a “magic recipe” game will be released sequentially. Starting Thursday, exclusive filters and templates will also be unveiled through collaborations with camera apps SNOW and EPIK.
Entry to the pop-up store will be available through online advance reservations. One session each day will be reserved exclusively for members of NCT WISH’s official fan club, NCTzen WISH. Further details will be announced later via the group’s official social media channels.
Meanwhile, NCT WISH will continue its tour with a show on Feb. 6 at the Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as part of its first concert tour, "NCT WISH 1st CONCERT TOUR 'INTO THE WISH : Our WISH'."
