SEOUL, July 26 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK will reunite as a complete group at the press conference for their upcoming world tour movie, celebrating their 8th debut anniversary next month.

According to YG Entertainment on the 26th, all four members of BLACKPINK will attend the press conference for their movie "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN CINEMAS," which will be held on September 9th at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.

YG stated, “This event will take place against the backdrop of a pink carpet, symbolizing BLACKPINK. Celebrating their 8th anniversary, BLACKPINK plans to connect more closely with their fans by personally attending the event.”

Additionally, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will personally visit the theater to express their gratitude, offering a special stage greeting to the fans.

This public appearance marks the first time BLACKPINK will be seen together in an official event since their final world tour performance in Seoul last September, nearly 11 months ago. The group also plans a private autograph session on September 8th, the day before the press conference, to commemorate their anniversary.

The movie "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN CINEMAS," set to be released on August 31st, captures the live performances from their "BORN PINK" world tour finale at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. This film will be shown in over 110 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, making it the largest-scale screening of a girl group concert film in history.
