SEOUL, May 11 (Yonhap) -- Actress Kang Sung-youn said Monday she has remarried and started a new family with a doctor.

 

Kang shared the news through her social media account, saying, "My children and I have built a new family with a truly wonderful person." She also posted several photos with her husband.

 

According to her agency, Dear ENT, Kang married a doctor, and the couple are raising her two sons together.

 

"You gave me the strength and time to live again," Kang wrote. "Everything with you feels like a miracle. Let's live kindly and peacefully together with deep consideration and trust for one another."

 

Kang debuted in 1996 as part of MBC's 25th class of open recruitment actors and gained popularity through dramas and films such as "KAIST," "Deok-i," "The Return of the Wife" and "The King and the Clown."

 

She also worked as singer Bobo in 2001 and scored a hit with the song "Late Regret."

 

Kang married jazz pianist Kim Ga-on in 2012 and had two sons before divorcing in 2023.
