SEOUL November 07 (Yonhap) -- “When we first received our latest track ‘Rica Rica,’ I was worried whether I would be capable of successfully pulling off the track, however it worked, I hope this track will shine bit more.” addressed K-pop girl group Nature’s Uchae.
“Our Latest track is better than ‘Rica Rica.’” adding “We will do our best so that you guys won’t be disappointed,” addressed K-pop girl group Nature during the interview on November 6 for their third mini album “Nature World: Code W.”
Girl group Nature’s latest release is their first musical release in 10 months after the group released the special album “Rica Rica” on January of 2022.
Track “Rica Rica” which is based on the rhythm of unique African tracks with addictive melody and its dance moves attracted a lot of listeners.
Continuing on with the success of “Rica Rica,” girl group Nature, is taking another shot at the music chart with their title track from the third mini album “LIMBO” which includes addictive melody and fascinating atmosphere.
“Limbo” depicts the process of falling in love using the game of Limbo, and a nine tailed fox which boldly portrays their emotion towards the one they love.
“Since there are challenges on TIkTok where people dance to their favorite artists track, we did our best to come up with a dance moves trendy enough but at the same time easy to follow and recreate.” addressed Loha of girl group Nature during the interview.
“Our concept for the third mini album is nine tailed fox, therefore all 9 members tried to show different but yet unique aspects of nine tailed fox.” stated Sohee of Nature.
Continuing with the success of “Rica Rica” within the online area, K-pop girl group Nature, was loved by soldiers in South Korea. Soldiers copied dance moves of “Rica Rica” with their military boots and danced along the song while Nature performed at a fully packed concert space.
Nature who struggled to perform for the past three years due to the COVID 19, addressed that the love they have received from so many fans made them not only happy but also at the same time it was stunning sensation.
“When we visited the seventh division, we could not find a single solder who was not familiar with our song ‘Rica Rica” adding “When we addressed that we are going to perform ‘Rica Rica’ next, the crowd went wild. When we asked solders to dance with us, some of them came dancing towards the stage so the guards and managers were bewildered.” addressed Sohee during the interview.
“Personally I like the track, however I am not sure how it will be to others, therefore I was worried throughout the stage,” adding “When we were done with our performance we saw so many people who have enjoyed and showed love, so I was very happy and that is when I really loved the track ‘Rica Rica.’” Haru smiled while giving her thoughts during the interview.
“When ‘Rica Rica’ first dropped, since the concept of the track is funny so the critics left comments such as ‘Good Luck,’ ‘we feel bad for you’ and more, however we are a K-pop group, therefore I believe our main goal should be focused on getting people to know who we are. Therefore I don’t think I had hard time performing those type of songs.” stated Saebom during the interview.
Just like Nature’s previous works, according to the group “Limbo” also showcases hard choreographies. If “Rica Rica” has the foot work, “Limbo” has dance moves which incorporates the footwork with pelvis, therefore it is at least twice as hard as the previous dance moves. Moreover, as the title indicates, choreography of “Limbo” needs flexibility as well.
“Since we have learned and performed ‘Rica Rica,’ as a group, I feel like we have managed to come to a point where we can learn any choreographies and work with anything,” adding “There’s nothing that we fear of anymore.” addressed Sohee during the interview.
Continuing on, Haru stated “Although it is not included within the music video, we have a very hard choreographic move where we use our upper body strength only to re adjust our positions,” adding “You guys will be able to witness the dance on stage.”
Moreover, girl group nature is planning on participating in a fan meeting event in Japan which will be held along with the other musicians from the agency. Over four thousand fans will be expected to participate, and it will be their first fan meet event in three years due to COVID19.
“Offline events and Online events are very different in a sense that we are capable of emitting the different type of energy,” adding “Offline events usually cheer us up due to the love crowd shows, we would like to show the fans the best of us because we missed our fans dearly.” addressed Loha during the interview.
“Once our end of the year schedule is done, I would like to have a team dinner, a big one. Due to COVID 19 we had hard time getting together. Also we would like to receive hotter reaction than ‘Rica Rica.’” Loha of Nature laughed while addressing her hope throughout the interview.
