SEOUL, June 11 (Yonhap) -- An episode of tvN's talk show "You Quiz on the Block" featuring Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang recorded the program's highest ratings of the year, the broadcaster said Thursday.

 

According to tvN, Wednesday's episode drew a nationwide viewership rating of 5.7 percent, based on Nielsen Korea data, marking the show's best performance this year.

 

Its ratings in the Seoul metropolitan area reached 5.9 percent, the highest among all episodes aired in 2025 and 2026.

 

The figure was also 1.4 percentage points higher than the 4.3 percent rating recorded by an episode featuring Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft and chairman of the Gates Foundation, which aired in May last year.

 

During the program, Huang spoke about his ties with prominent South Korean business leaders, including Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung and SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, as well as his personal journey and views on the era of artificial intelligence.

 

The episode attracted attention as it marked Huang's first appearance on an entertainment program, both in South Korea and abroad.
