SEOUL, Aug. 14 (Yonhap) -- KATSEYE, a joint Korean-American girl group formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, released its third EP, "WILD," at midnight Friday, the agencies said.

 

"WILD" captures KATSEYE embracing all sides of their inner selves and moving toward instinct and freedom.

 

The title track, "Hootie Frutti," features a rich pop sound and heavy drums.

 

The five-track EP also includes the pre-released songs "PINKY UP" and "Animal."

 

HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk and pop star Ed Sheeran, along with prominent producers including Omer Fedi and Blake Slatkin, participated in the album's production.

 

Ahead of their comeback, KATSEYE appeared on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," which aired Thursday local time, and performed "Animal."
