SEOUL, Feb. 17 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN has successfully concluded their world tour, drawing a total of 1.03 million fans, its agency said on Monday.
SEVENTEEN held the SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE WORLD TOUR IN ASIA concert on Feb. 15-16 at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, according to their agency PLEDIS Entertainment. This marked the grand finale of their four-month-long tour.
During the three-hour show, the group performed hit songs such as LOVE, MONEY, FAME, God of Music, and Super, along with unit performances from their Hip-Hop, Performance, and Vocal teams. The encore featured their fan-favorite track VERY NICE, keeping the audience engaged until the very end.
At the close of the concert, SEVENTEEN expressed their gratitude, saying, “We are deeply thankful to our members, staff, and CARATs (SEVENTEEN’s fandom) who accompanied us on this world tour. This journey will remain a cherished memory.”
Celebrating their 10th debut anniversary this year, the group added, “Thank you to everyone who has loved SEVENTEEN over the past decade. We will continue to grow and evolve for CARATs.”
The world tour began in October 2023 at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea and included 30 performances across 14 cities in North America, Japan, and Asia. In total, both in-person and online attendees surpassed 1.03 million.
During the tour, SEVENTEEN also won the Top K-Pop Touring Artist award at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards in December.
Looking ahead, the group is set to make history as the first K-pop act to perform at Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025, one of Latin America’s largest music festivals, taking place on April 4 in Monterrey, Mexico.
