SEOUL, April 29 (Yonhap) -- Singer-actor Park Ji-hoon will return to music with his first single "Re:flect" on Wednesday, his agency said.
The single will be released at 6 p.m., marking his first music release in three years since the seventh EP "Blank or Black" in April 2023, according to YY Entertainment.
Park recently drew attention for his role as King Danjong in the film "The Man Who Lives with the King," which surpassed 16 million admissions to become the second-most-watched film of all time in South Korea.
"Re:flect" explores the process of looking back on the past and reflecting on lingering emotions to better understand one’s present self. The album captures a range of feelings, from fleeting unfamiliar sensations in daily life to memories that remain vivid over time.
The single includes three tracks: the title track "Bodyelse," the refreshing "Watercolor," and the pop ballad "I can't hold your hand anymore."
"Bodyelse" is a mid-tempo pop dance track featuring dreamy synthesizer sounds and emotional guitar riffs, depicting the moment one realizes that unfamiliar feelings in everyday life ultimately stem from a specific person.
Park is expected to captivate global fans with his more mature vocals and emotional depth, the agency said.
