SEOUL, July 29 (Yonhap) -- TEO, the production company founded by producer-director Kim Tae-ho of "Infinite Challenge" fame, said Wednesday it has entered the film distribution business through a strategic partnership with distributor Waterhole Company.

Known for producing entertainment shows such as the "Adventure by Accident" series and "Good Day," TEO said it plans to expand its content business into film distribution by leveraging its production capabilities.

Waterhole Company has distributed such films as "Everything Everywhere All at Once," "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train" and "Whiplash."

As their first distribution project, the two companies will release "The Drama," a romantic thriller starring Robert Pattinson and Zendaya.

The film follows a happy couple preparing for their wedding whose relationship is shaken after they confess long-hidden secrets from their past. It is scheduled to open in September.

The companies also plan to distribute "Mother Mary," starring Anne Hathaway, and director Kinoshita Baku's "Stay by My Side."
