SEOUL, Aug. 12 (Yonhap) -- Virtual idol group PLAVE is set to release their new digital single, Pump Up The Volume!, on the 20th, according to their agency, Blast, on the 12th. Blast revealed a teaser image for the upcoming release on their official social media accounts.

 

Pump Up The Volume! is a lively track that blends an energetic band sound with a retro-inspired melody. Blast described the song as capturing the essence of summer with its fresh lyrics and analog-style melody, promising a track that highlights PLAVE's musical growth and charm.

 

This new release comes six months after PLAVE's second mini-album, Asterum: 134-1, which was released in February. During their previous promotion, PLAVE gained significant attention by becoming the first virtual idol group to achieve first place on a terrestrial music show.

 

PLAVE will also be holding a fan concert titled Hello, Asterum! Encore on October 5-6 at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.
