SEOUL, Oct. 20 (Yonhap) -- As actor Kim Seon-ho is being suspected of having forced his ex-girlfriend to abortion, demands for his eliminations from various programs are pouring out.

On TV reality show “2 Days & 1 Night”’s bulletin board for its watcher’s feedbacks, there have been comments such as “As a fan of ‘2 Days & 1 Night,’ I demand actor Kim Seon-ho’s removal” and “I request for (Kim’s) removal. It is uncomfortable to see him in a variety show for all ages and families. I want him to be off.”

A viewer said on the board, “Please take appropriate measures as a public broadcasting. As the controversy is becoming out of control, I wish for this matter to be strictly taken care of.”

Another said, “Since someone has caused a trouble, I cannot watch the program comfortably.”

Meanwhile, there were opposite opinions saying that the issue is Kim’s personal matter and should be dealt with after the facts have been clearly straightened up.

Kim, who debuted in the theaters, joined the reality show in December 2020 and well-blended in with his adaptability and friendliness. After gaining recognition through the show, he gradually rose to stardom appearing in multiple series such as “Start-Up” and “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.”

However, on the 17th Sunday, an anonymous post was uploaded on an online community, “Nate Pann,” in which a specific name was not revealed, though the accused could be narrowed down to Kim based on its details.

According to the post, its writer who claimed to be ‘actor K’’s ex-girlfriend was coerced into abortion by K and was dumped after the surgery.

KBS, the broadcaster of “2 Days & 1 Night” has not yet given their official announcement about their removal of Kim and whether his parts were cut out from this Sunday’s upcoming episode.

As it seems the controversy will hardly cool down for some time, not only the reality show but also Kim’s next productions seem to be inevitably damaged.

The actor is currently cast for romantic-comedy, “2 O’clock Date” to be released in 2022, director Park Hoon-jung’’s “Sad Tropics” and an omnibus film, “Dog Days” featuring pets.

In the meantime, Kim’s agency, Salt Entertainment, has still not made further announcements other than that they are “checking the facts” until the 3rd day of the hot issue.

The actor announced an official apology through his agency Wednesday, saying “I have hurt her with my inconsiderate and careless behavior.”
