SEOUL, July 3 (Yonhap) -- J-Hope, who started his first solo activity as the “Second Part” of the group BTS (BTS), expressed his feelings on Friday, saying, "I have relieved my hunger."

"I don't know how you all felt about the song, but I always wanted to show you something more wonderful," said J-Hope through the fan community Weverse. “There was always a part of me that wanted to show you personally as BTS’ J-Hope.”

“I think today was the day to relieve that wish of mine,” he wrote. “I’m grateful and maybe even sorry to the many ARMYs (BTS fans) around the world who have accepted all the feelings that I have expressed.”

On this day, J-Hope released “MORE,” his official solo song for the first time since his debut as BTS in 2013.

“More” is a song with an old school hip-hop genre. It is a song that expresses his determination to start a new challenge with an intense shouting technique that wraps around the ears.

"I am proud and happy in many ways," J-Hope said. "Apart from releasing the song, it feels so good to have completed the song I envisioned after the start of COVID be completed for all of you to listen.”

He added, "I feel like I'm seeing the results of my efforts so far."

"Starting from today, I will gradually show you J-Hope's emotions in a variety of ways,” J-Hope said. "Please be aware that this is an important process of taking the next step as J-Hope and Jung Ho-seok (real name). I would be grateful if you’d support it."

J-Hope will be releasing all songs from his first solo album “Jack In The Box” on July 15.
