SEOUL March 6 (Yonhap) -- The final members of upcoming K-pop girl group “BabyMonster” by South Korean entertainment giant YG Entertainment, will be selected through open evaluation, addressed YG Ent. on Monday.
YG Entertainment released a teaser video disclosing such information on Monday.
Executive producer of the YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk, addressed “Up until now BabyMonster showcased seven of the well trained members with potentials” adding “The time to select the best members of the group for the debut has come.”
“BabyMonster” consists of seven potential members starting with Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Haram, Rora and Chiquita. However through the final rounds of evaluation some of the members could get dropped out from its upcoming debut. Number of final group members has not been disclosed yet.
As for the final rounds of evaluation, YG Entertainment addressed that potential members of the group will be put to various tasks where the panel will grade individual members potential from perspective of audiences.
