SEOUL, Nov. 3 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group ONF's management agency, WM Entertainment, announced Wednesday that five out of the six members will join the military next month.

ONF's MK will be the first member to enlist on Dec. 21, followed by J-US and Wyatt on Dec. 27, and Hyojin and E-Tion on Dec. 28. The agency stated that due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19, there would be no events and did not specify the location and time of the members' enlistment.

"We decided to follow the members' opinions of wanting to minimize the length of break they will take from group activities," WM said. "While it is unusual for idol groups, all of ONF's Korean members will start their mandatory military service at the same time."

ONF will hold its first solo concert between Dec. 9-12 to meet with fans before joining the military.
