SEOUL, Nov. 29 (Yonhap) -- Born and bred in Apgujeong, Dae-guk is the social butterfly, knowing everyone from a part-timer in convenience store to a celebrity. While he has full of business ideas in his head, he does not have a proper job

After falsely accused, plastic surgeon Ji-woo (Jung Kyung-ho) got his license suspended and is currently doing surgeries with other person's name.

The movie "Men of Plastic" is a story about social butterfly Dae-guk who dominated Apgujeong with his connections in 2007 and a plastic surgeon Ji-woo with the best hand skills in Korea, holding hands for the second act of their lives.

The business idea of Dae-guk is turning the entire 15-story building into a plastic surgery clinic. He dreams of a new leap forward by bringing together Jiwoo's ability, Taecheon (Choi Byung-mo)'s fund, and Mijung (Oh Na-ra)'s information power.

Assigning counseling staff fluent in Chinese to target the Chinese market and successfully attracting customers with "Before & After" advertisements, hospital soon begins to be crowded with customers. On top of that, Dae-guk captures the heart of Chinese capitalist, who "Apgujeong Big Hand" Taecheon used to take care of, succeeding in making his business plan a reality.

Jiwoo becomes a star doctor and Daeguk is able to buy his dream apartment in Apgujeong with a lot of money. However, Jiwoo's over-confidence in believing that everything he has achieved so far is solely due to his ability, and Dae-guk's desire to earn more money ultimately begins to crack their relationship.

The movie "Men of Plastic" is a comedy film produced by Ma Dong-seok and the production team of the movie "The Outlaws." Although the two works are of different genres, they are both created based on the characteristics of the actor Ma Dong-seok.

Ma Dong-seok appears in a completely different look, red hair, colorful orange shirts, and pink sunglasses, yet it brings certain sense of deja vu.

The part where he gives a small laughs by shamelessly rattling off a lie and not even able to do simple multiplication reminds of Detective Ma in the "The Outlaws" series.

The absence of "Justice Action," Ma Dong-seok's biggest weapon, also leaves a regret. In the drama, Dae-guk is a person who tells lies with full of pretentious words, and he uses all kinds of expedients to succeed. This is why even though short action scenes are inserted in between, the thrills audiences felt watching "The Outlaws" cannot be experienced in this movie.

The process of Dae-guk, Ji-woo, Mi-jung, Tae-cheon, and Gyu-ok (Oh Yeon-seo) joining to make Apgujeong a sacred place for "K-Beauty" follows the format of caper movie with cheerful rhythm , but it is difficult to see the probability due to its rapid development.

Director Lim Jin-soon said at a conference held following the premiere said, "I tried to maximize the wit and humor code that actor Ma Dong-seok has," adding, "There are comedic situations, but it is a character-oriented movie. I relied a lot on the actors."

To be released on Wednesday. Time playing of 112 minutes. For over 12 years old.
