SEOUL, Sept. 21 (Yonhap) -- 

First-generation girl group Fin.K.L will reunite for full-group activities for the first time in 21 years.

 

Gemstone E&M said Monday that the four members -- Lee Hyo-ri, Ock Joo-hyun, Lee Jin and Sung Yu-ri -- have reunited under the name "Fin.K.L" and are preparing for full-group activities.

 

It will be the first time in 21 years that Fin.K.L has embarked on activities as a full group since the release of its digital single "Forever Fin.K.L" in 2005.

 

The four members reunited through JTBC's "Camping Club" in 2019 and released a new song, but the reunion at the time was closer to a project formed around the television program.

 

Gemstone E&M, which is overseeing the planning and management of the group's activities, described the reunion as "a new beginning for Fin.K.L's continued activities under the group's name, rather than a one-off meeting."

 

Fin.K.L debuted in 1998 and became one of the leading girl groups of the era, winning widespread popularity with numerous hit songs including "Blue Rain," "To My Boyfriend" and "Eternal Love."
