SEOUL, May 15 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group RIIZE has unveiled the lead track from its upcoming first full-length album, the group's agency said Thursday.
According to SM Entertainment, the title track “Fly Up” from the album Odyssey, set for release on May 19, was revealed for the first time during an online showcase held a day earlier.
“Fly Up” is a dance song inspired by 1950s-style rock 'n' roll, characterized by energetic rhythms and a grand choral arrangement.
The lyrics depict the group’s desire to connect with a wider world and diverse people through music and dance, breaking through barriers and prejudice.
RIIZE described the track as one that "awakens the instinct to dance,” adding, “It might be hard to just sit and listen to it. We’ve prepared choreography that feels like a musical, so your eyes will enjoy it too.”
