SEOUL, March 6 (Yonhap) -- Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together has participated in the official soundtrack for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, becoming the first Korean singer to do so, his agency said Thursday.
According to BigHit Music, Yeonjun took part in the tournament’s official track "Make It Count," which was released Wednesday on global music streaming platforms.
The song is the main track among three produced for the project by Tainy, a two-time winner at the Grammy Awards. Yeonjun is credited alongside global pop stars Becky G and Myke Towers, and performs part of the lyrics in Korean.
The agency noted that the World Baseball Classic has released an official soundtrack for the first time this year, adding that Yeonjun is the first and only Korean singer to participate in the project.
Tomorrow X Together is set to return on April 13 with its eighth mini album, "7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stopped for a While in the Thornbush."
