SEOUL, April 3 (Yonhap) -- The agency representing actress Song Ha-yoon reiterated its denial of allegations that she engaged in school bullying during her high school years.
KingKong by Starship, Song Ha-yoon's agency, stated in an official statement on the 2nd, "Regarding the content broadcast on JTBC's 'Crime Chief' and subsequent reports, we once again emphasize that these allegations are not true."
Furthermore, they added, "We are considering all necessary measures, including legal actions against the informant and requesting a broadcast ban on JTBC's 'Crime Chief,' through legal review by a law firm."
On the 1st, the JTBC current affairs and culture program 'Crime Chief' aired a segment stating, "Actress S, who recently gained popularity for her role as a villain in a popular drama, has been embroiled in allegations of school violence."
The informant claimed during the broadcast, "I was called out to the playground behind the school during lunchtime and was beaten for an hour and 30 minutes without knowing the reason," and hinted at further revelations.
While the program introduced the actress as "S," comments flooded Song Ha-yoon's personal social media (SNS) asking for her response, as the materials and photos used in the broadcast pointed to her as the subject of the allegations.
