SEOUL, Feb. 6 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK will reunite for a full-group world tour this year, meeting their global fanbase, BLINKs, its agency said on Thursday.

YG Entertainment officially announced the world tour by releasing a teaser video on its official blog. This marks BLACKPINK’s first world tour announcement in approximately one year and five months since their 2022–2023 "BORN PINK" tour.

From Oct. 2022, BLACKPINK embarked on a year-long tour, performing 66 shows in 34 cities worldwide and drawing around 1.8 million attendees—setting a record for the largest K-pop girl group world tour.

YG stated, "To support BLACKPINK's extensive group activities this year, we have established a dedicated internal project team, ensuring a swift and well-organized comeback. This year will be filled with large-scale projects befitting BLACKPINK’s unparalleled global stature."
